atomikarchitecture was formed in July 2004. The practice's aim is to create unique high quality architectural solutions, which firmly address the physical and spiritual needs of people and their environments - from the smallest building element to the larger urban or rural context.

The synthesis of any architectural solution is, of course, a collaborative process between client and architect. Each new building should be seen as a prototype; it is a voyage of discovery for both parties and requires a relationship of mutual trust and understanding.

Designs are explored through the distillation of the brief, the study of context, space, scale, orientation, light and the considered use of materials and finishes. The single and collective impact of each of the building elements on the emotions and senses is considered. The economic, environmental and ecological impact of specific architectural and building strategies is an inseparable aspect of this approach.

By following and developing these aims, atomikarchitecture strives to create an architecture which is functional, poetic, challenging and delightful.
