The Digby box factory opened in Hackney in the 1920s and was manufacturing up until the 1960’s when it was converted to apartments. Today we are removing some of the unsympathetic additions and detritus that has built up over the past 50 years. Eight new, spacious homes span the width of the existing building. These sit back from the existing facade allowing covered gardens to the east and an access walkway to west of the building. The apartments are all dual aspect with astonishing views over the city, they meet the Lifetime Homes standards and are in excess of the London space standards. With the new apartments comes  an upgrading of the existing refuge and bicycle stores as well as making the building accessible to all.
